Answer: A coffin.
Riddle: One half dead the other half living and a tail wagging.
Answer: A dog with its head in a pot.
Riddle: Headed like a thimble; tailed like a rat you may be guessing for ever but you could not guess that.
Answer: A pipe.
Riddle: What goes between two woods and comes home between two waters.
Answer: A man fetching water in two pails.
- Wart: If you found a snail when you were not looking for one rub it to the wart and it will go away.
Boil: Fill a bottle with steam and put it to the boil and it will cure.
Sore eyes: Rub some cold tea and rub it to the eyes. - Informant
