  2. Some years ago my great grandfather had a spinning wheel for spinning wool and flax. He used spin the wool into thread for knitting stockings, and into flannel for making blankets. He had a special wheel for spinning flax. He used spin it into linen for sheets, and table cloths and for other household purposes.
