    Once upon a time there lived a king and his son.

    Once upon a time there lived a king and his son. The son's name was Jack. Jack was no good. He used to go off shooting every morning (every morning) very early. One morning when he went out he met another king. They chatted gaily for a while. The other king asked Jack to go for a (chal) shot with him and to meet him at the same place the following morning at six o'clock. Jack promised. He got up at half-past five and was waiting there for the king to arrive.
    While he was waiting there, a big eagle flew over h(?). He fired at her and wounded h(?)
