Once upon a time there lived a woman who had three sons named Tom, Jack and Sam, who had not work, and their mother said "I will bake threww cakes, and kill three cocks for you, and you must go and seek your fortune," When the cakes and cocks were ready she asked Tom would he take the big cake and cock and her curse, or the small cake and cock and her blessing. He said "The big cake, cock and your curse." She asked Jack which of the cakes would he take and he said "The big cake, cock and your curse." She asked Sam, and he took the small cake, cock and her blessing.
