  1. For Warts
Put a knot of straw (previously blackened with fire) on the wart, rub it well on it and then bury the bit of straw under a stone. When the straw rots the wart disappears.
Fill a bag with as many stones as you have warts ; leave the bag of stone at the cross roads and the first corpse whose funeral passes the cross takes your warts and you are free of them.
    Diarrhoea
A slice of dry toast - well toasted
    Pain in the Back.
    A pennyworth of pitch
    A pennyworth of Burgundy
A pennyworth of Dragon's blood - (This is bought as a powder).
