  2. Loughmore castle is situated on the right bank of the river Suir on a farm belonging to Edward Mc Grath Loughmore. The castle is about two hundred yards from the river. It is said that there was a draw bridge across the river at this point and the remains of a road can be seen plainly from the castle to this point. The castle is
