In a very loud voice he chimed in adding "and Wednesday too". Suddenly there was a stop to the fairies' singing, and John heard the King order that he be brought in. He went in but instead of joy on their faces he saw anger, and the King accused him of destroying their song. In punishment, he ordered the second hump to be put on poor John, who went home very sorrowfully.
