    For corns the people got an ivy-leaf and steeped it in vinegar. Then they rubbed it to the corns. After rubbing this to the corns for a few days they would be cured.
    For boils the people got sugar and soap mixed together and rubbed it to the boils.

  2. To cure a chin-cough is to drink the white of an egg mixed with sugar and water.
    A cure for a toothache is to put a little bit of soot and salt into it.
    A cure for a pain in the back is olive oil and red flannel put to it.
    A cure for Rheumatism is to put on a piece of brown paper on to where it is and then rub it over with a luke-warm iron over the brown paper.
    Dandelion is a cure for consumption. The plant is boiled and the water
