  1. There was a tyrant of an agent living out in Ballaghmore who used collect the rent for the Ely O'Carrolls named George Ealy.
    On the first of november 1858 a man named Jim Delaney went to George Ealy to pay his rent. Ealy told him that his son had a dog and a gun and that he would have to banish one of themas he could not keep bith of them. Jim told his son who said that he would banish neither of them but that he would banish Ealy. He
