  1. St Cronan's Protestant churchyard is situated in Church Street. It is a level churchyard with an Iron railing all around it. There is a beautiful old gate leading into it inlaid with celtic designs. This old church and graveyard were once Catholic but the church is said to have been knocked down years ago and a new one the present Protestant church was built in its place. There are many old monuments there some crosses, some upright plain slabs and some flat slabs placed on two stones. Some of these slabs are
