There are five graveyards in the Parish of Roscrea :- St Cronan's Catholic graveyard situated around the Catholic church, St Cronan's Protestant graveyard situated at the Protestant church, Corville situated near Sean Ross Convent, Corb churchyard about one and a half miles from the town and Fancroft churchyard situated about two miles from the town. This churchyard was given by Mr MacIvor to be used by Protestants and Catholics. When a Catholic is being buried in Fancroft the preist takes a handfull
