  1. Long ago there was a treasure hidden about ten feet from the Round Tower in Church Street. At this time the tower belonged to the protestants. If any catholic was seen near the castle they were shot.
    One night some men from Burgoo said that they would seek the treasure. After saying the rosary they set out for the castle. They bribed the watchman to let them in. After digging some four feet that found a tongs. It is said that the tongs was a sign of danger. They left the castle and nobody ever
