  1. Wildfire:
    It is believed when two persons of the same name marry the husband and all his sons can cure wildfire. The man who cures the disease scrapes some part of his body with a pin and draws blood. Then he puts it on the part where the wildfire is and it immediately disappears. A man named Maher of Carroll's Row , Roscrea is supposed to be able to cure this disease.
