    Of all the places on this earth,
    No matter where I roam,
    I love you dear old Erin' Isle,
    My own dear native home.
    Where'er I stray both night and day
    Fond memories throng my brain,
    Of the pleasant happy days I spent,
    Round Carden's Wild Domain.
    2
    Of all the places on this earth,
    Tis there I'd like to roam,
    Where the pheasant , grouse and partridge,
    All find a happy home;
    And the wild jack-hare arises there
    And scampers o'er the plain,
    To try the swiftness of our dogs
    Round Carden's Wild Domain.
    3
    The turtle dove sits cooing there,
    Upon those tall oak trees;
    Thrushes and blackbirds warble out
    Their notes unto the breeze.
    The cuckoo's notes are heard to sound
    Along the flowery vale.
