    2. When we see a glare coming down form the sun it is said to be a sign of bad weather.
    3. When there is a halo around the moon the weather will be bad.
    4. When the stars shoot across the sky it is said to be frosty.
    5. The clouds tells us when it is going to be bad they seem dark and heavy.
    6. A rainbow in the morning is the Shepherd's scorn, a rainbow in the night is the Shepherd's delight.
    7. When the north wind blows you shall have snow. When the West wind blows we shall have rain.
    8. When the goats come down near home and when the cattle, sheep go to the ditches for shelter it is going to be bad weather.
    9. When the birds fly high it is a sign of good weather when they are flying low it is a sign of bad weather.
    10. The little midges flying around on a Summer's evening it is a sign that the morrow will be wet.
