  2. There is a ruined castle in the school district. It was said that the Danes built it and was also said that the Normans built it. It is not really known who built it. It is a very old castle . It is in a field a long way off the road. It is inthe townland of Clonboo parish of Clonmore and county of Tipperary nver heard of it been beseiged. There is a ruined Church near the castle. It is called Saint Anne's
