  1. There is a very large fort in Thomas Ryan's land. It is a circular fort, and is surrounded by a number of large trees.
    It is said that when people are passing by at night a light is seen in it.
    Long ago it is said that the owner of the fort was cutting trees, got a prod of a thorn, and nearly died.
