  1. My uncle told of a great runner. He lived in Gortagerry. He was able to stop a rabbit from getting out of a field. His name was John Fogarty. He was also a great jumper and was able to jump as high as himself. The people around called him the "wonderful man." His descendants still live there and are noted for their strength.
