  1. In the townland of Rathmoyne is situated Hogan's Fort. It is a large circle of earth.
    Two years ago, the owner went to level it but never finished it.
    When he was not well started he caught cold, developed pneumonia, and was confined to hospital for months.
    There is a fence around the edge of the fort, which protected it from the wild animals of long ago.
