    In Kicham's story told
    To see brave and manfully
There's many a Matt the Thrasher
Among the lads of Fair Ileigh.
If you wonder up the green
    hill slope

    The graveyard all around
Where five of Ireland's nobel dead
    Sleep in the holy ground
There's three green graves sad. I ween

where rest in peace the ashes
Of young Russell, Bourke and Shear
