Modern foreign Dances have crept in a good deal Few are able to dance even “The Walls of Limerick”. The Ballycommon Set – a form of Quadrilles, – is very popular generally finishing up with Barn Dance, Fling or Polka.
The Cross Road Dance on Sunday Evening is still popular and there are Platforms at Knockbrittas, Garracummer, Milestone, Ballycarron
There are a few traditional Violin players and a few who play a melodeon. There is only one piper
