  1. It is an old custom not to out for milk on a Saturday night.
A girl went out for milk for supper and when she had it drank she heard horses running outside around the house, and they thought it was going to fall. After that night she got delicate, and she was not able to do any work. One day she went out to call the men to dinner, a woman ran up to her, and gave something to her that cured her. She did not know who the woman was, and she was never seen after.
