    The mountains and Glens long walking “
    placed a large boatful of gold coins under or near a large rock a short distance from Commonaline School. The Rock referred to is on the roadside east and then north of the school, parish of Doon and County Tipperary.
    The boat - a tall one is supposed to have been packed full of gold. Before Éamonn could recover the treasure it is supposed that he was murdered and according to local tradition the treasure still remains hidden where placed by Éamonn himself
