On a certain occasion, when Cullen saw the milky waters of the stream, he knew that Goora was unarmed, and he decided to tak the opportunity of murdering him.
The two giants met face to face, a couple of hundred yards from Murroe village and there the fight began. Goora held out against Cullen for a brief moment, but in the end the latter won the victory and Goora was slain.
Tradition tells us that the giant was buried in Cappanahane not far from Lisagoora, and his grave is still to be seen there.
