  1. April 1st 1916 will never be forgotten by persons who were at the age of understanding by then. What makes that date so eventful is the great snowfall which occurred at the time. It was the greatest of modern times, some people look back on it with a shudder; others recall it with no little delight, on account of the unusual thrill which they experienced on account of it , but no thrill, however great , could compensate people who witnessed it, for the great hardships and dangers which were forced upon them by it's unexpected coming.
