She got a shears and cut the wool off the skin, and then sold it. Then she gave the skin and the price of it to the boy. The boy then went home and gave the skin and the price of it to the Gobán Saor. The Gobán was very pleased and he sent his son looking after the girl. The girl said that she would come but she would not come in the day nor in the night, across the fields, not on the road. The gril came when it was dusk and she walked on the top of the ditch. The Gobán Saor was pleased and his son married her and they lived happy ever afterwards.
