  1. The townland I live in is called Scragg. It is so called because it is very high and rocky. There are some big rocks to be seen in fields. There are huge ones in a field of Toohey's. There is a big stone quarry in the townland. There is a river flowing through part of the townland and it is called "Burgess River". There is a lovely waterfall. Poll an Eas. Near the waterfall there was a peeler shot one time.
    There are ten houses in the townland and six of them are thatched. All the thatched houses are low; they have low doors and small windows. There are
