  1. On the 30th of April - May Eve, the following customs are practicsed in Boher.
    The Easter Water which they get in the Church on Holy Saturday is shaken by a member of the family on the farm. Somebody puts a drop in a bottle and shakes it on all the fields and gardens. They say that the "pishoques" are set on November Eve and that they are reaped on May Eve. It is therefore believed that the crops would not grow if the "pishogues" were set for them.
