  1. In this parish there are some standing stones to be found here and there. In this locality there is a number of stones in a field of Mr. William Ryan's. They are in a circle and one big one standing above the others.
    The local belief with regard to there stones is that people were buried there. Some however hold it was a place of worship long ago.
