  1. There was a man one time and the Banshee used to come in and sit down with him by the fire every night. After a while the Banshee and the man got very great. One day the man was milking his cow with a gallon and the Banshee came. The man left the gallon on the ground and the Banshee sat on it. The man was very vexed and he hunted her from the gallon and he then gave her a good kicking. The Banshee turned on him then and gave him a good beating with her big stick.
