  1. Chin-cough - To meet a man riding a grey horse, to ask him what would cure it, and whtever he sya, to give it to that person who has the chin-cough.
    Pain - If a child had a pain, to go out, and the first little hole you find with clean water to give three drops to the child and it would cure her.
    Cut - After getting a cut to put a clean cobweb to it to stop the bleed.
    Warts - To cut a potato, scoop out a holde, put in salt and rub it to the wart, for a few days, until it brings out the warts.
    Chilblanes - To burn corks, and mix the ashes with fresh lard and salt, and put it to them every second night.
    Sore feet - Put a lump of iron in cold water and wash the feet in it.
