  1. Saint Patrick's day is kept in memory of Saint Patrick in Ireland on the 17th of March.
The customs that are observed in this locality on Saint Patrick's day are wearing the harp, a beautiful bunch of Shamrocks or an image of Saint Patrick in your coat.
There is a Mass on Saint Patrick's day. Before Mass travellers stand at the gate selling harps.
In Ireland the festival is kept as a religious and national holiday. There are processions after Mass on Saint Patrick's day. At night Irish Dances Conserts and Ceilidhes are held.
In the forenoon the Churches are packed with fervant worshippers and Irish Sermons are preached at all the masses in the large cities and towns.
No nation honours or celebrates its National Festival as the Irish do.
