  1. About eighty year ago before thetime of trains a man named Jim the Dairy lived at Ormond stile. I don't know what his name was but my grandfather told me that he went by the name of Jim the Dairy.
One day a neighbour of his wanted to send a letter to Dublin. Jim said that hewould do the job. The letter was to be in Dublin before twelve o'clock. The neighbour gave Jim the letter at four o'clock in the morning. Jim started for Dublin running some of the way and walking more of it. He reached Dublin at the stroke of twelve and delivered the letter. This was a remarkable feat as it is eighty Irish miles from Ormond Stile to Dubin. Jim is dead sixty Years ago.
