    There are many old heights and fields in surrounding district.

    There are many old heights and fields in surrounding district.
    Not far from our house there is a field which is called "The Kill Field" in that field lies the ruins of an old church and about one hundred years ago young children used to be buried there.
    Situated in the parish of the Silvermines there is a fort called "Kirawn" and it is said to be of importance in olden times.
    In the parish of Nenagh there is a place called Fawnlough which means "Lough of the deer."
