    Situated at the rear of Castle St. in my school district is a very strong round tower which was built by the Butlers in the year 1,200.

    Situated at the rear of Castle St. in my school district is a very strong round Tower which was built by the Butlers in the year 1200.
    Its height at present is one hundred feet, the thickness of the wall at it's base is seventeen feet. It consists at present of three stories, the floors of which are entirely removed.
    The entrance to this building was about thirteen feet high and 9 feet 8 inches wide.
