    I live in the Parish of Nenagh, on the barony of Lower Ormonde and in the Diocese of Killaloe.
    There about one thousand and fifty families in the town. The population is four thousand five hundred. Ryan is the most common of the family names.
    the houses long ago were mostly thatched, but nowadays they are all either slated or tiled.
    The name "Nenagh" is derived from two Irish words "an"
