    Nearly on every road there are fairy forts of some kind such as Lisboney, Lismore, Rathmartin and Rathnaleen.

    Nearly on every road there are fairy forts of some kind such as Lisboney, Lismore, Rathmartin and Rathnaleen.
    The Rathmartin Road got it's name from an old fort and by a man Martin who was killed in the fort.
    Rathnaleen got it's name from an old fort situated on top of a hill and inhabited by a race of small people. Those forts are surrounded by large trees which makes them
