    There is a townland in my parish called Patrick's Well.

    There is a townsland in my parish called Patrick's Well. It is so called because there is a blessed well there called St Patrick's Well. Tradition tells us that centuries ago St Patrick visited this well blessed it and called it after his own name.
    We are told, that overhead this well St Patrick placed a cross of silver to show he blessed it. Overhead this well are seats, beads and pictures of every sort. People who were alive when St. Patrick
