    Once upon a time a Leipreachán lived under a mushroom in Kildangan. One night there was a man coming home from work. As he was passing the fort, he heard a tapping, like a bird breaking a snail off a stone. He listened. Then he made up his mind to see what it was. He entered the fort, and there he saw a small man about a foot high sitting under a mushroom. The man's name was Pat. Pat stole up to the Leipreachan, and caught him by the neck.
