    The forge in Knigh is owned by Mr Grace. The roof is galvanized iron. It is situated at the Cross of Knigh.
    The owner of the forge in Carney is Mr Kennedy. It is situated by the roadside and is not very far from a cross-roads.
    There are many ruins of forges in the district. There is one in Lisduff[?]. The owner of it was Mr S.[?] Kennedy.
    In Annbeg there was another forge. The owner was Mr. Malamphy (R.I.P). Only its ruins are now to be seen.
    There was a forge at Ballycommon cross. The owner was Mr. Grace. The forge is now used as a barn.
