    nettles are used as food for turkeys and chickens. When you are picking them you put a sock on your hands. Then catch them and cut them with a knife. You then put them in a pot to boil. When they are boiled they are cut and mixed with meal. They are ready to eat then.
    Marshmallows is seldom found on my farm. It has a pink flower. it is used as a cure for swelling. You pound it into a poultice and put it on the swelling. After a time the swelling will go away.
    It is said if you put a weed known as "self-heal" on a cut that it will cure it.
