    The townlands in my district are Lisquilabeen, Kilbileer and Annagh.

    There are three houses now in ruins which were inhabited ten or fifteen years ago. The inhabitants got poor and had to emigrate to England or America to earn their living.
    There is a lake known as Lock Dul[?] in this townland. Tradition says that there is no bottom to this lake. A Mr. Minchin once went bathing in this lake. He got drowned, and the body was never discovered. People shun this lake as much as they can.
