The bride's mother usually used not go to the ceremony in the Church.

    Sally Davey
    Rockview,
    Puckane. Collected the following:
The bride's mother usually used not go to the ceremony in the church. She used to stay at home preparing the feast. When the couple and the people invited, all came, the feast began. The music began and the bride and bridegroom danced the first waltz and if their mothers and fathers were there they used dance also. In the middle of the sport they used have whiskey and afterwards supper. Usually the dancing and singing were never kept on any later than twelve o'clock.
