Married in black will wish yourself back,
Married in Red you wish you were dead,
Married in Brown will live out of town,
Married in pink will turn to drink.
The people beleived in lucky and unlucky days of the week. Wednesday is believed to be luckiest day of the week for marriages. Saturday is said to be the unluckiest day of the week for marriages, thus we have the following rhyme :-
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
And Saturday is no day at all.
