  1. At one time there lived in Killyloughnane a boy by the name of Tim Smith. He was a very clever boy and he resolved to frighten the old people. So he made a kite and went out one night, put a lantern on it and started to fly it until it could be seen by all the people. They thought that the end of the world was coming so they began to give out the rosary that God would save the world for another while.
