    When salmon leap out of the water it is a sign of rain.
    When black beetles are seen at night on the floor it is a sign of rain.
    If the clouds were of a coppery or yellow tint around where the sun set, such a sky foretells rain.
    When there is a ring of pale light around the moon, that is a sign that the next day will be wet.
    In the evening when the sky is red in a straight line, that is a sign of thunder.
    If a rainbow appears in the sky towards the west it is a sign of rain.
