  1. There was a cobbler once upon a time who was a bit too big for his shoes. One day while a customer was in his shop, the "Cobbler's" wife came out to say that dinner was ready. "What are we having?" said the cobler, "Praties and herrings," said his wife. The cobbler was angry with his wife and said, "Why did you not say something big?"
    Next day the woman came at the usual time to announce dinner. "What are we having?" said the cobbler thinking that his wife would say something great, before the customers.
    "We are having, Praties and Whales," said she.
