  1. Written in war time. When Lady Limerick's daughter looped the loop.
    A lady fond of tango-tea.
Went up to loop the loop with me.
Far up above those clouds you see.
    Foll de doodle ido
And when we reached the blessed gate.
St. Peter said you'll have to wait.
Says she we'll fly in o'er his pate.
    Fol de doodle ido
We planed around that blessed place.
The angels all were saying grace,
One stared me straight into the face.
    Fol de doodle ido.
Says she this place is truly grand.
'Till an angel said they're going to land.
We heard a loud and stern command.
    Fol de doodle ido.
We vol-planed down through storm and hail.
our hearts were sick with fear and pain.
Shall we ever see this place again.
    Fol de doodle ido.
