  1. Once upon a time there lived in Lemonfields a boy who was very fond of staying out late at night.
    His mother was continually telling him of the dangers of being our after dark but he paid no heed to her intreaties.
    One night when he was returning home after card-playing at a neighbouring house he saw a funeral on the road before him. The coffin was carried by three men one of whom asked the help of the boy.
    He shouldered the coffin however and they started on their journey again, and never stopped until the cock crew in the morning. Then he realised that he was about ten miles from his home.
