  1. I live in Lemonfield about 5 miles south of the city of Limerick. In this townland there live 13 families and 47 people.
The land is fairly rich and mostly under pasture. The houses are nicely kept and their flower-gardens are always clean and neat.
It is a very nice place to live and the city people often cycle or walk around the townland on summer evenings.
The people may never be short of water for there are two pumps and one well in the townland.
Many fairy tales are told about Lemonfield house which was formerly owned by Mr. Russell and is at present the property of Mr. Hartnett.
